1. Write all ways to make your business Makes Money
Do you sell products, services, or both? List all the things you sell, and if there is more than half a dozen or so, they are grouped into related categories. These are your sources of income. Now, how much income you want to earn from each revenue stream? Be that. Next to each category
2. Figure out what it costs to run your business
List all expenses you can think of, and do not let things because you think that you can not afford. Even if you choose not to spend much on marketing planning, you need (or want) later, so create a budget for it in your business plan. If you come in under budget - good for you
3. Decide what to measure
It is not enough to set a sales target, sit back and wait for customers at your showing door. Anyway choose what you do, have some way to measure its effectiveness.
For example, if you need one week ten new customers in order to meet your sales goals, you could 20 or 30 to generate leads. By measuring how many leads you from every networking event you will attend or blog post you write, you can quickly assess what types of marketing to generate the most leads, and amp up the really effective, while those choosing back, as not functioning well.
, the three elements mentioned above form part of financial analysis and goals and objectives sections of your business plan that best each time to change the sections when you perform a check.
